Liesbeth Franx has a long track record in the employment law practice mainly for business clients in the high-end market segment. She focuses mainly on collective dismissal, collective bargaining agreements, employee participation and the transfer of undertakings.
Liesbeth Franx-Schaap was sworn in as a lawyer in 1987. From 1987 to 1997 she worked at Nauta Dutilh, initially in Amsterdam and later in Rotterdam. After serving as a deputy judge, Liesbeth worked at the Amsterdam office of Allen & Overy from 2000 to 2008. In 2008 she founded L&A advocaten together with Arlette Putker-Blees.
Liesbeth has various publications in leading employment law journals. She has authored or co-authored several books and academic articles on this topic. For example for Kluwer and Kluwer Law International, Allen & Overy and the Employment Law Association. From 2017 to 2020, she chaired the collective dismissal committee of Randstad Group Netherlands.
