During my studies, I discovered my passion for employment law, which was confirmed during several internships and a working student position. The versatility of this area of law appeals to me enormously: I can advise clients as well as guide them through proceedings. I find it very interesting that employment law issues often involve a convergence of different interests and emotions.
I also really like the fact that at L&A Advocaten we work with clients in a personal and accessible way. I think it’s important to build a relationship of trust with clients and not only to support them when problems arise, but also to be a (preventive) sparring partner. For example, I really enjoy sharing knowledge through courses or training programmes (e.g. on inappropriate behaviour) that raise awareness within an organisation.
